I am an Assistant Professor in the Sociology Department at California State University, Chico, specializing in topics of mental health and illness and user experience research (UX research). I invite you to connect with my research, teaching and art.
I am currently working on several projects, including a study on ASMR content creators with digital sociologist Dr. Naomi Smith, and a have recently completed a study on digital spiritual care with a team of computer scientists at Colorado School of Mines, led by Dr. Estelle Smith.
